It’s late summer in Niagara on the Lake. The trees are buzzing with life, and down below, the afternoon is buzzing with the excitement on the biggest day of this couple’s life. The photos below illustrate why I love a summer wedding at The Pillar and Post. There is just so much beauty all around.
The tall willow trees in the Monet-Inspired gardens provide just enough shade for a brief romantic respite on a meandering walk around fairytale property. C + K took a quick detour after their first look to steal a few kisses on the Pont de Monet, before a beautiful sun-soaked outdoor ceremony at Le Petit Pavilion. This couple also made sure to take some time to explore more of the town of Niagara-on-the-Lake and visit the Commons and Butler’s Barracks for a few photos in some different scenery. When the afternoon enters twilight, nothing beats an evening stroll through La Roserie while the sweet perfume of a thousand blooms fill the air. After romantic spins and twirls at out The Barn, this couple retired to the Upper Canada Ballroom for an epic evening celebration including live music from The Hot Karls.
When darkness falls, and the cool lake breeze drapes over the town, this is the perfect opportunity to sneak outside from the party and share a few quiet moments under the town’s street lights.
Get inspired and walk with this bride and groom as they explore nearly everything on offer at Niagara-on-the-Lake’s renowned Pillar and Post.
