I wish I had the words to describe how much I love Cave Spring and Inn on the Twenty, I have written about the wonders of Cave Spring and Inn on the Twenty an uncountable number of times and have had the privilege to experience these places in every season. While it’s always beautiful no matter the season, there is nothing else like Fall if you want the full vineyard experience.
On this crisp October day, the air quickened with the promise of a new season and sighed one last breath of summer warmth before giving way to a growing blaze of colour. The smell of crushed leaves and the sweet scent of fermented grapes danced around us and sharpened each smile. From the Escarpment site at Cave Spring Vineyard, these two amazing brides could stand at the edge of the vineyard and gaze over adoring faces of their best friends reinforced by the gentle slope of regimented vines marching towards the lake while a soft wind rustled through the new-coloured trees with a sound as gentle as a bridal veil whispering approval in her ear.
Follow these two brides and their best friends from Inn on the Twenty to Cave Spring Vineyard and back again as they celebrate the most incredible experience life offers: to love and be loved.
This is what an Afterglow wedding feels like.
