The Slit Barn in Cambridge is one of the most beautiful venues to host your wedding. Because it is a Natural Heritage site, you must ensure that you keep it clean (not even a single cigarette butt!). But therein lies its beauty. You know you’re going to a clean location. From a photographer’s perspective, it provides numerous opportunities for beautiful images whether rain or shine. The abundant wildflowers along the on-property trail provide excellent backdrops for some evening photos. There is a forest nearby (just a short drive) which was used as the location for M + P’s first look. There is often beautiful soft light in the forest and it provides some shade on those really hot summer days. We highly recommend the venue.
